I decided today’s update will be more about what’s been going on in my life. So in the past few weeks I’ve been looking for several video producer’s to film me in field. Out of the thirty replies, I interviewed thirteen of them.
So for the past couple of months I’ve been hanging out with Sinn @ SinnsofAttratction.com. I was always told Sinn doesn’t come off in the best light when first meeting people. I don’t pay attention to the community so the only rumors I get are from people I know in real life. Sinn’s definitely an interesting character. He actually has some of the best verbal game I’ve ever seen, sometimes we’d have our group discussion on life, sports,women and mixed martial arts– I’ll say my piece, AaronDan will say his, but once Sinn opens his mouth –all the opinions known to mankind will be covered by him in two minutes or less. Half the time the only thing to follow up with is: ” Yea, right on, I agree.”–next subject.
Long story short, after two years he’s leaving Dallas for his Twelve Months /Twelve Cities Tour. I am glad to have met and have this guy be apart of my circle of friends.

Moving on .
Lets talk about stalkers. I can’t begin to tell you how many stalkers I get on a weekly basis. Growing up I always fancied the idea of someone worshipping me. But let me tell ya, it’s not funny when they’re calling me during sleeping hours very intoxicated, telling me how their night went and wishing I was there to witness the awesomeness of their number close.
A couple of months ago I had a workshop in Atlanta. During the workshop I met a client, he was a pretty normal guy,he came, he learned, said our good-byes and parted ways.
A couple of days ago he called me out of the blue asking if he could become an apprentice of mine. Let’s tackle the subject of just hanging out with me.
I am not that picky when it comes to hanging out with anyone. My only requirements are:
- Don’t act like a fool, I don’t need to be around anyone whose obnoxious and belligerent.
- I am not your demo-reel. In the words of my friend John, ” Right Now you get Tim, pay me $1500.00 and TimmyD Appears “
Back to the story, this ex-student of mine starts to send me random text messages and phone calls, sometimes three calls in one hour. He even registers on my company’s message boards and spams it for DAYS. It’s like a horrid episode of The Twilight Zone. I can’t seem to get away from him!
After his obsessive behaviour of funneling every possible way into my life, I just stopped responding to him.
Eventually I get a text from him saying:
“Ur not that busy not to call me back I’d smoke you in the field but your too cool to write me you were my F*cking Instructor. Sorry Timmy had to Vent. ttyl”
As you can see, he may have not been obnoxious, or didn’t treat me as some demo-reel. But stalking and threatening another human being isn’t something I’d want in my life either.
The moral of the story is.
No Stalking! Please. You may not think so, but many of you show early signs of this … if your going around telling other people:
” I’ve been monitering you for awhile.” I don’t care if you meant that in the best of compliments. It doesn’t sound right. Quit using “Monitering.” It’s C R E E P Y.
